Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Irish Data Protection Acts, you have strong rights over your personal data. This page explains them and how to use them.
Your rights
- Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal limits.
- Restriction — limit how we use your data while a query is resolved.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it without affecting prior processing.
- No automated decisions — we do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
How to exercise them
You can download your data from Profile → Privacy & data, or contact us. We’ll respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests, with notice). We may need to verify your identity first, and we won’t charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or your local supervisory authority.
Contact
Data requests: legal@nrinest.com — write to us any time and we’ll route your query to the right team.
